Mount Waverley II
With a brief of a calm place to relax at the end of a busy day, we went about creating a tranquil retreat
Malvern
This beautiful Californian bungalow project is a tale of two spaces, the good front room for the grown-ups to catch up with friends in and the new extension that is all about family and casual family living.
Mount Waverley
The clients of this home have always had fond memories of their time at the beach with family and friends and wanted to design a home that reminded them of these memories. We added touches of blue to create the calming effect of the ocean, which in turn created a seamless flow throughout the home.
Ashwood
With this project, our clients were downsizing from a family home to a townhouse. We wanted to incorporate our client’s treasures, including beautiful rugs and artwork with deep sentimental meaning. Each room was influenced by existing objects.
Balwyn
This project was about my client and how we helped in finding her style and expressing herself when she found herself suddenly single.
Burwood
The brief for this new build was to create a contemporary home with a timeless appeal.
Glen Iris
At My Beautiful Abode we often get to work with couples that are making their nest as they are about to become new families. In this case, the couple didn’t have the time, know how or enthusiasm to decorate their new home, they just knew they wanted it to look great and feel like home when they moved in.
Hawthorn East
With this project, our clients realised their furnishings from the previous house just didn’t suit the new space. Our task was to find the balance between my clients personality, interests and lifestyle and the fixtures and style of the built space.
Mount Waverley
The little lady that this room belongs to loves to read, loves pretty things and loves Disney. Our goal was to create a sanctuary where she could snuggle in with her favourite things.
Ormond
When we met our clients on site (they had just taken possession of the house) we entered the space that was all white walls and floors. Our goal was to create an interesting, friendly family home that was warm and welcoming.
Mitcham
A relaxed family home set in a tree tops suburb of Melbourne. The client brief was to create a comfortable family home that was beautiful and inviting.
Box Hill
We were invited to collaborate with this young couple in creating their forever home. We first met for a meeting over a set of floor plans to discuss materials and finishes for the fixtures and later, as the house was built, we continued onto furnishings, having a clear plan on how this home was going to look to suit their brief, budget and lifestyle.
Fitzroy
The brief was for a vibrant apartment that was colourful, welcoming and felt that it belonged in inner city Fitzroy, with it’s exciting laneway art culture.
East Malvern
The brief for this project was to take the “Good” front room and make it best. A multi-functional room that was an inviting space to be able to entertain in, or snuggle up in front of the fireplace, or to work from the table by the french doors.
