My Beautiful Abode is an interior design and styling consultancy focused on
helping people to make their homes beautiful, inviting spaces.

Key elements for a well resolved interior include how your home feels, looks and is used. Our designing philosophy is to ensure each room is a practical and attractive space that utilises its unique features together with our client’s belongings and style.

Based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, we work closely with a diverse range of clients to transform houses into beautiful homes. Our clients include architects, builders, owner-builders, renovators and home owners, and our Design and Styling Menu provide a flexible array of options, from a full design service, or simply to clarify directions and support confident decision making during a potentially difficult time.

For over two decades, Sophie Kost, Director and Lead Designer of My Beautiful Abode has designed and styled interiors across Melbourne and rural Victoria. Sophie has a well rounded career and extensive experience, with skills honed in CAD (Computer Aided Drafting), high end sofa sales and working with fabrics in both retail and wholesale roles. Sophie held a frontline role in a leading interior decorator business in Armadale for eight years before drawing these experiences together in 2011 to form her interior design and styling consultancy.
